General Questions

TitanPass is an extremely secure way for individuals and companies to store and manage all of their website login credentials in one place. It works with every type of website including email, banks, social networks, shopping, forums, news, etc. You can:

  • Login to any website with the click of a button.
  • Manage the access to websites for all your employees and family members.
  • Use it on any device or operating system.
  • Trust that the login credentials for all of the websites you need to access are safe and secure never to be forgotten.

We found that other password management systems were not running in the cloud which was creating a lot of problems for the companies using them. Companies were not able to efficiently manage all of their employees' login credentials and website access from a single point of control. Furthermore, other solutions didn't work seamlessly and uniformly on all devices and operating systems. We decided to solve these problems by creating TitanPass.

Absolutely. In fact, TitanPass is completely free for individual use. You will get all the same features, functionality, and security that large corporations need and use at no cost.

Security Questions

All of your website login credentials, including your usernames and passwords, are stored with AES 256-bit encryption on our server and are compliant with all AES encryption standards. The encryption keys you provide to encrypt your website login credentials with are only known to you and your trusted users and are never stored anywhere on our servers.

All information transmitted between you and our servers uses an encrypted AES 256-bit SSL data connection. The TitanPass servers and their database information are also protected against security threats including SQL injection, cross-site scripting, and cross-site request forgery. All requests to use your login credentials must be backed up with unique and unguessable SHA2 encrypted identification that TitanPass manages for you as part of its puzzle algorithm.

No. All sensitive website login information on our servers, including your usernames and passwords, is protected with AES 256-bit encryption and cannot be cracked without the encryption keys used to create it. The encryption keys you provide to encrypt your website login credentials are only known to you and your trusted users and are never stored anywhere on our servers.

The TitanPass puzzle algorithm is a proprietary algorithm we use to add even more security to our system. Multiple pieces of protected and secure information are required all at the same time in order for a user to successfully login to one of their websites. These pieces of the puzzle include a unique SHA2 encrypted user id, a unique SHA2 encrypted website id, a strong encryption key, and finally the encrypted data on our server. None of these puzzle pieces can be obtained or guessed by brute force.

Pricing Questions

Each price plan gives our users a range of sub-users (e.g. employees, family members, etc.) that they can add to their account. This makes it very easy for them to add or subtract users on the fly without having to update their account every time they make a change.

We offer a free plan to individual users for two reasons. First, it makes it very easy for companies to try out TitanPass for free without any obligations. Second, the true power of TitanPass lay in its ability to allow users to manage more than one sub-user (e.g. employee, family member, etc.). As such, we only charge when a user wants to use this core feature.

TitanPass charges on a monthly basis using the popular and secure Stripe payment system. After you select a price plan and complete your purchase, you will automatically be charged for your first month of use. We will continue to charge you monthly unless you cancel your plan through the TitanPass administration panel.

You can change or cancel your price plan at anytime by doing the following:

  1. Log into the administration panel.
  2. Click your username at the top right of the screen.
  3. Click the settings link.
  4. Go to the price plan section and select the appropriate action.

If you change your price plan, your next bill will be credited with the time not used on your previous plan. If you cancel your plan, you will not automatically be refunded for the month already paid however you can contact us, we will look at your situation individually, and issue a refund if appropriate.

Known Issues & Solutions

Issue: Using Chrome or Safari, when you click the special TitanPass bookmark, nothing happens (i.e. the encryption key overlay form doesn't pop up).

Reason: Facebook purposely blocks all Javascript code from external websites when using either Chrome or Safari due to something called "Content Security Policy" directives.

Solution: You have to use either Internet Explorer or Firefox in order to login to Facebook with TitanPass.

Issue: When trying to login to Stack Exchange websites (Stack Overflow, Server Fault, Super User, etc.), the TitanPass special bookmark says that no login form was found.

Reason: The Stack Exchange websites use an iFrame login form that has a different source (e.g. https://openid.stackexchange.com) than the web page calling it (e.g. http://serverfault.com). Javascript cannot access iFrames that have different sources than the web page calling them due to something called the "Same Origin Policy".

Solution: Use https://openid.stackexchange.com/account/login to login to your Stack Exchange account with TitanPass.
